This year we brought it up a notch.

We had a PJ Parade through town that attempted to break a world record, but we never heard back from Guinness World Records. We had over 700 Jasperites and friends march through the streets of Jasper to raise awareness and money. The vibe on the streets of Jasper were unparalleled on this day.

Events were going on throughout the day right from the morning Gluten Free PJ Pancake Breakie put on by the Jasper Volunteer Fire Department. Events at Marmot, and throughout town. Everywhere we looked folks were in PJ’s.

We had a PJ Dinner (Gluten Free,) Fashion Show, and party at the end of the day that was beyond amazing. Grace Feniak showcased original fashion based on three different autoimmune diseases and we had a very successful Silent Auction.

At the end of the day we managed to raise $10,000 to donate to a local family who experienced the darkest outcome of the social/medical ignorance around Autoimmune Disease. The sooner we slay the ignorance, the more lives we can save. By knowing, understanding and raising your own level of consciousness, we help all of humanity.
